If you want to have sex more often, you should stop blaming your partner for never being in the mood and start taking it upon yourself to get your partner in the mood. You know them better than anyone else, so it shouldn’t be all that hard to think of something that will knock their socks (and underwear) off. However, in case you can’t come up with anything, here are a few little things that’ll make your mate want to have sex:
The fewer chores your partner has to do, the more time they’ll have to spend with you. Plus, having less on their plate will reduce their stress. Since it’s much more fun to have sex when you’re truly able to let loose and enjoy yourself, cleaning up the house for them should get them in the mood for some loving.
When you first start dating someone, you may go to the movies and fancy restaurants every weekend. However, after you’re together for a while, you’ll start staying inside more, because you don’t want to waste money. Besides, you’ve already gone on every type of date there is to go on. However, it’s important to make your partner feel appreciated and the best way to do that is by taking them out on the town. It doesn’t matter if you go to a park or a museum. Either way, you’ll score brownie points.
Do something special for your partner that will make them feel at ease. You could run them a bath, complete with candles and wine. You could give them a massage, complete with oils and maybe even a happy ending. Do whatever you think they’d respond the best to.
It’s time to cook your partner’s favorite meal. It doesn’t matter if you’re a chef or an amateur, because it’s the thought that counts. As long as you make an effort to create a delicious dish, and then clean up the mess from it all, they’ll be in the mood to thank you for all your hard work.
When was the last time you complimented your partner about something other than their body? Instead of telling them that they look hot, tell them that you appreciate how sweet they are, or that you love the way that they smile when they read. The more unique the compliment is, the happier they’ll be to hear it.
You don’t have to wait for your partner’s birthday to buy them a gift. It doesn’t even matter if you’re broke, because something small will do the trick. Pick them up their favorite candy bar from the drug store or win them a stuffed animal from the claw machine at Friendlies. Any gift is a good gift.
If you’re creative, you can write your partner a song or a poem. If you don’t have a way with words, you can settle for scribbling down compliments on a card or in a letter. Or dedicating your favorite famous poem to them. All you have to do is express your love for them and you can’t go wrong.
What never fails to put you in the mood?
