Holy Shit…We Really Do Need Our Brain To Enjoy Sex

Sex has permeated just about every facet of life in America, from cleavage-soaked fast food commercials to the disturbing trend of younger and younger teen pregnancies, and yet, even with the thrust (no pun intended) of the sexual revolution of the 1960’s, there is still very little we understand or are willing to admit when it comes to sex and its impact on our species and society as a whole. That’s what this article is about. So to distract you from the science-y stuff, here are some boobs…

Why Do We Enjoy Sex?

Physician and medical innovator, Stephen L. DeFelice, Founder and Chairman of FIM, the Foundation for Innovation in Medicine, attempts to understand and address the connection between sex, the brain and individual and social behavior by what he coins “the Brain Genital Law” or BGL. Yes, it does sound like the plot of a bad national lampoon, direct-to-DVD movie but this dude takes his shit very seriously.

The doctor explains how the brain ensures evolution’s primary objective that “heterosexuals copulate to propagate the race by producing babies” but then goes into a little exercise examining, and concluding that bisexuality, homosexuality, sadomasochism, transgenderism and many other forms of sexual stimuli are all, contrary to popular belief, natural and normal.

The video, which you can find here, breaks down how the American sexual revolution is, as never before in history, “swiftly deregulating the BGL where sexual fantasies and acts are rapidly expanding and destabilizing critical segments of our individual, social and national behavior.” with Doctor DeFelice further positing that our future, if left unchecked, will become an “explosive destabilization, from the family to national security, where genital-consciousness vigorously competes with self-consciousness.”

Essentially, according to Doctor DeFelice, we, as a society, do not approach sex in a healthy manner. We do not respect it as an act or as a responsibility, which will lead us down a trail of collapse and chaos.

Furthermore, the doctor believes women are playing an expanding major role in stimulating sexual fantasies and should be held more accountable in matters of sex. A risque subject if I ever did see one.

Now, a little something for the ladies…

Finally, concluding in the segment, “Where Do We Go from Here?” the doctor calls for an in depth national discussion of the nature of sex and for the establishment of a National Sex Policy as we have with education, health and defense.

That’s right. A national policy to inform and educate our society about sex and the very tangible roll it plays in daily life. That should go over very well.

But, don’t let this one professional opinion dissuade you. Go forth like broken jackhammers smashing your way through one another. There’s very little to worry about, other than the collapse of society.

What are your thoughts? Is this just about the craziest thing you’ve heard regarding sex since that documentary “Jesus Camp” came out? Let us know with your best “oh” face: comment below and share on Facebook.
