What made the Force Awakens Teaser Trailer #2 so damn good?

Let’s all be honest about one thing: The Han Solo and Chewbacca comeback will likely make this movie the biggest hit in the franchise.

It’s Great to See Them Back

In 2011, a video was released on YouTube that made Star Wars fans everywhere “worry” Chewie and Han were no longer pals.

It appears that whatever happens in The Force Awakens will be enough to bring them back together, which must really mean something after watching this clip.

Han Solo Is Star Wars

Beyond the often pointed-out fact that Harrison Ford was really the only actor in the original trilogy who still had a real career after the saga, let’s look deeper at the character of Han Solo in the movie.

At the core of it, he is really nothing more than a space pirate.

He does exactly what he wants, how he wants to, whenever he wants to.

In real life, you would likely hate him, but on the big screen you want to see as much of him as possible.

I mean, his interactions with other characters are just without match.

His name is legendary and he combines style with ability, resulting in one impressive character.

Of course, he would not be complete without Chewbacca.

The Chewbacca Bromance

Chewbacca, lovingly called “Chewie” by his best friend and ally Han Solo, is the other piece of the puzzle that this movie could not have done without.

Without Chewie, Han would truly be flying solo.

Even though Han’s name would be a little bit more accurate, it would simply throw off the entire dynamic of the characters.

And he’d basically be just too much of an ass to make his character function as the comedy relief. (It’s true; albeit a beloved one.)

Regardless of whether you loved the original Star Wars movies or not (and who didn’t?) the return of Han Solo and Chewie is bound to leave you expecting great things.

Not to mention the arrival of the Millennium Falcon is making a stellar appearance.

So, get all of your fan apparel ready and be prepared to don your favorite Star Wars gear. The movie may still be months away, but it will be here before you know it.

For now, May the Fourth be with you.

What are you most looking forward to with the new Star Wars movies? Are you as excited about seeing Han and Chewie back on the big screen?
