Americans have this crazy predisposition toward believing that only young people can be sexy. With age comes a grace not known in youth, and with age comes a ton of life experience. If you’re one of the lucky few who ages gracefully like the entertainers listed below, you’ll be living proof that age is just a number. In honor of this past National Senior Citizen Day on August 21, check out nine sexy senior citizens (65 and over!) still rocking and performing in the entertainment industry today.
Helen Mirren
At 70 Helen Mirren is one of the sexiest senior citizens gracing television and movie screens throughout the world. Like a fine wine, Mirren only seems to be getting better with age. A professed nudist, Mirren loves strutting her stuff on the nude beaches of the world.
Jane Fonda
Jane Fonda is an iconic American actor with a career that has spanned multiple decades. Known for her political activism, writing, modeling and fitness movies, Fonda has worn many hats in her 77 years. Still rocking her political activism as well as starring on the popular Netflix series “Grace and Frankie,” Fonda will continue to strut her sexy stuff into her 80s.
Robert Redford
Another iconic American actor, Robert Redford has been known for his devilishly good looks, keen acting ability and extensive philanthropy. At 79 Redford has barely slowed down, still starring in films, championing for equal rights and environmental issues, and participating in Sundance, the renowned film festival he founded.
