Real estate mogul Donald Trump is in the limelight these days, thanks to his bid for the presidency. He’s considered a “wild card,” but the former host of The Apprentice is going strong, dominating the 2016 public opinion polls for the Republican Party nominations.

What keeps him a hot topic in the news, however, is his penchant for saying insane things. From weird to confusing to creepy, we’ve rounded up the best Donald Trump quotes there are so far. Here are 10 of the most insane things Trump has said.

1. “I will be the greatest jobs President that God ever created.”

Let’s start with where all this buzz about Trump started. When he announced he’ll run for president, Trump said he’ll be “the greatest jobs President that God ever created” (whatever “jobs President” means).

2. “We need to build a wall … [with] a big beautiful door. “

Trump wants to build a wall with a “big beautiful door” to keep illegal immigrants in Mexico’s side of the border. Trump touched on the topic of illegal immigration during his announcement speech, but his “big beautiful door” comment has since spawned these memes.

3. “Global warming is a hoax.”

Trump believes the concept of global warming can be blamed on the Chinese. It’s a “total and very expensive” hoax folks! A hoax.

4. Golf + gay marriage = very weird comparison

Who would have thought gay marriage was like golf? Obviously, Trump did. He opposed same-sex marriage being legalized as much as he is reluctant to use a new kind of putter.

“It’s like in golf…. A lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive. It’s weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can’t sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.”

5. Twitter is his “truth serum.”

Trump doesn’t believe in email, but he sure believes in the power of Twitter. His Twitter is so powerful it’s like a truth serum.

6. “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

During an interview with ABC’s The View, Trump was asked how he would react if his daughter Ivanka posed for Playboy. His reply drew laughs from the audience, but to other people listening it was “creepy as hell.” His representative later said he was joking, but who would joke like this?

7. “Only Rosie O’Donnell.”

Trump’s view of women leaves much to be desired. His remark during this debate is just one of the many instances he’s uttered disparaging comments about women he disliked.

8. “My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well been documented, are various other parts of my body.”

Thought Catalog brands this statement as “typical creepy and nonsensical Donald Trump.” But really, who cares about his fingers or toes?

9. Trump talks in circles….

It should come as no surprise that Trump is prone to saying weird or downright confusing things. Take this one, for example:

“I cannot say I have to respect the person that if it’s not me, the person that wins. If I do win and I’m leading by quite a bit. That’s what I want to do. I can totally make the pledge if I’m a nominee.”
