Penis Pajamas, Phallic Onesies and Other ‘Unfortunate’ Designs

An awkward design is appearing on a new pajama design and it’s raising eyebrows.

The new design by Primark features a Boston terrier with a unique white stripe down the center of its face, emphasizing the breed’s chubby jowls.

Unfortunately, the placing of the headdress worn by the dog make it look like a penis wearing a holiday hate with a bell on the end.

The sleepwear also consist of wrapped bones, according to Mirror Online.

The bottoms cost around $7.44 and a matching t-shirt would be another $5.95.

A picture of the unfortunate design was posted by a customer on Facebook and was quickly liked 200 times.

It was posted with the caption, “Treated myself to some jarmies [sic] in Primark today to go with last nights sausage dinner. I did giggle. I wonder what breed of dog this is….”

Constance Button commented, “I have them their awesome!!” Naomi Millwer added, “Hey look a balldog.. I mean bulldog.” Roxy Anne Copeland wrote, “So phallic…”

Last year fashion chain Next pulled their baby grow onesie off the rack after the pattern seemed to show an erect penis.

Three years ago, Singapore’s swimming team donned Speedos with the country’s flag printed on them, but with unintended consequences – the moon shape was placed in an awkward position and looked like penises.

downloadMany kids’ toys also feature unfortunate designs. An “X-Men” blowup toy featuring Wolverine places its blow-hole right between the character’s legs, making it look like – well, you know.

Either designers are inadvertently letting out Freudian slips, or they’re having a laugh.

Have you ever purchased an item with an “unfortunate” design?
