Of course, once you get there, you might start wondering how some of these bundt cake pans came to be. Or, maybe you really want something strange as a conversation starter. Ever want to make a bundt cake that resembles some sort of strange ice cream cone? Well, this is the pan for you! Build with the classic circular shape, it might seem normal at first glance, but what is up with all those ridges? Is there some advantage to making a cake that looks like this?

2. Nordic Ware 80537 Bundt Squared Pan

Yes, another Nordic Ware, and with good reason. It seems pretty standard that a bundt cake should be made round, right? Well, apparently that is not always the case. Perhaps this is just a power play to show they are big enough to get away with anything, but either way it offers a strange option for this holiday season.

3. Nordic Ware Gingerbread House Bundt Pan

Alright, this is the last Nordic Ware one and perhaps it doesn’t belong on this list. Instead, it might be better suited to a “coolest” cake pan list. Still, it is extremely unusual and that seems to be a good qualifier for being called strange. As an added bonus, you won’t have to worry about making a ginger bread house if you make this one, right?

4. Wilton Dimensions Cascade Pan

With “Superman vs. Batman” coming out in 2016, it must have made sense to someone over at Wilton to decide on making a cake pan that resembled Superman’s fortress of solitude. Will they ever admit that was the real inspiration for this? Probably not. But, be honest for a minute and look at it. They clearly tried the bat cave design as well, but that one probably just didn’t work out.

5. Wilton Dimensions Belle Pan

Out of the pans listed here, this one is somehow perhaps the most normal. After all, it does have a somewhat festive design. Still, when did making a bundt cake that you will demolish the same day or next day become some sort of art project? This strange design might go well with your table settings, but it won’t look any different than your standard bundt cake after you cut out a few slices.
