Throwback Thursday: Full House – Where are they now?

If you haven’t heard by now, Full House is making a comeback. Netflix will air 13 new episodes of Fuller House in 2016. The series will reportedly revolve around Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).

With a new season just around the corner, we decided to take a look at what the Full House stars have been doing since the original series ended.

Danny Tanner

Since Full House, Bob Saget has stared in everything from Law & Order LA to Entourage. He is also a notable stand-up comic; if you haven’t heard his routine, then you may find it a little shocking.

D.J. Tanner

Candace Cameron Bure has kept busy staring as a host on The View, and she has also starred in several “made for TV” movies. Bure made headlines this year on The View after a heated argument with Raven Symone. The argument stemmed from a bakery that refused to make a lesbian couple’s wedding cake.

Stephanie Tanner

Jodie Sweetin has starred in a few TV shows and movies over the years, but the actress has also fought a very public battle with addiction. Sweetin has spent time in rehab after abusing crystal meth, cocaine, alcohol, and several other drugs. She claims she became sober in 2008, but reportedly spent time in a rehabilitation facility in 2013.

Michelle Tanner

The Olsen twins have a made a fortune off of fashion and accessories. Seriously, remember when Mary Kate and Ashley were selling clothes, backpacks, accessories, and basically anything else you can think of? In 2007, Forbes ranked them the eleventh-richest women in entertainment. Their net worth is said to be somewhere around the $300 million range. The duo is currently working on a new fashion line, and it doesn’t look like (there’s still a slim chance) they’ll be appearing on Fuller House.

Uncle Jesse

Aww, John Stamos. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve seen John Stamos in everything from ER to Glee to yogurt commercials. Uncle Jesse will be back for Fuller House, we can only hope he leads “Jesse and The Rippers” on a worldwide tour again.

Uncle Joey

Dave Coulier has found work on several TV shows and a few movies over the years. In Full House, Uncle Joey always stole the show with wacky puppets, Popeye impressions, and his “Ranger Joe” bit. The talent carried over after the show: he served as the voice for several characters, including Popeye in the TV show Robot Chicken. Coulier has also been successful as a stand-up comedian. Uncle Joey will also be back in action in Fuller House.

Aunt Becky

Lori Loughlin has worked on several TV series, including 90210, since her Full House fame. She has also worked on a lot of  “made for TV” movies. She’ll also be back for Fuller House.

Kimmy Gibbler

Everyone’s favorite neighbor, Kimmie, hasn’t done much acting since Full House ended in 1995. Instead, Andrea Barber has revealed that she thought of acting as a childhood hobby. According to the Huffington Post, she went on to earn and English degree from Whittier College, then received an MA in Women’s Studies at the University of New York. Not to worry though, Andrea and Candace are still friends, and the pair will be coming to a TV screen near you in just a few short months.

Will you be tuning in to watch most of the cast of Full House return?
