Monday: “Wake Me Up” by Avicii

Mondays suck. That’s all there is to it, so picking this song was easy. “Wake Me Up” is just the thing to start your day off with some extra energy. Get in a groovy bounce as you wait for your morning coffee to brew. Only six wake ups left this week!

Tuesday: “Wrecking Ball” by  Miley Cyrus 

Alright, so Tuesdays are kind of terrible too. They fall too early in the week to start getting excited for the weekend—so I prescribe a healthy dose of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” to get you through the day. Blast this song as you power through the Tuesday afternoon crash. You’re knocking down the walls to the weekend.

Wednesday: “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift

Yay! You made it to the middle of the week; it’s all smooth sailing from here … hopefully. If you are feeling stiff from that broken office chair, or bitter because one of your coworkers stole your lunch, remember to shake it off with T-Swift!

Thursday: “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson Feat. Bruno Mars

Welcome to Thursday everyone! And if you’re in college, happy Thirsty Thursday! Next to Friday, Thursday is my second favorite weekday. All you have to focus on is one more day, and when you get this far into the week it’s no sweat! This groovy tune will have you dancing into the office Thursday morning.

Friday: “Happy” by Pharrell 

Well, obviously! Happy Friday everyone! You made it without killing your boss or having a nervous breakdown (we hope)! Now it’s time to do the happy dance as you drive into the sunset of 5 o’clock rush hour. Don’t worry about the traffic; tomorrow is Saturday and that can only mean one thing…

Saturday: “Gangnam Style” by Psy

There’s no stopping you on Saturday. Today is your time to let loose and dance the night away. Forget the troubles of the week and grab a couple friends to celebrate with. Who cares that you don’t actually know what the words are—you can still do the dance!

Sunday: “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars OR “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 

Sunday, you are such a bittersweet ending. On one hand, tomorrow is Monday, but on the other Sunday is well known for being either a “get things done” day or an “I’m not leaving my couch day.”  If you fall on the side of lazing about (like me) then this is the song for you. Kick back, relax, and chill out with Bruno Mars.

OR, maybe you actually get stuff done on Sundays (tell me your secrets!!!). Then you might need something to put a beat in your step. Get your shopping done, clean your house, or just get out and about for some errand running.
