1. Canned Salsa

Salsa is one of the best things to can because it belongs in a jar. Of course, you’re going to need a lot of ingredients in order to make this recipe work. You should start by buying 8 cups of tomatoes, 2 1⁄2 cups of onions, 1 1⁄2cups of green peppers, 1 cup jalapeno pepper, 6 garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons of cumin, 2 teaspoons of pepper, 1⁄8cup canning salt, 1⁄3 cup of sugar, 1⁄3 cup of vinegar, one can of tomato sauce, and one can of tomato paste. Once you have all of those ingredients, you should mix them together and bring them to a slow boil for ten minutes. Then, you should seal the mixture in a jar and cook it in hot water for ten minutes. Then you’re all done!

2. Canned Salmon

For this recipe, you should buy salmon, cooked  potatoes, quartered tomatoes, pitted black olives, cooked green beans, and soft-boiled eggs. Once you place all of those items together, you should dress it with a vinaigrette made from olive oil, lemon juice, and Dijon. That’ll create a delicious salmon Nicoi.

3. Canned Peaches

For this recipe, you need two pounds of peaches, 2 1/4 cups of sugar, 5 1/4 cups of water, and some fresh fruit. All you have to do is place all of the items together in a clean jar and then boil it in hot water for 25 minutes. Then, you should remove the jar from the water and let it cool overnight.

4. Canned Pickled Beets

For this recipe, you need 7 pounds of beets, 4 c. vinegar, 1 1/2  tsp canning or pickling salt, 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, 2 cinnamon sticks, 12 whole cloves, and 4 to 6 onions. Once you combine all of the ingredients, bring the mixture to a boil and let simmer for five minutes. That’s all it takes!

5. Canned Fruit Cocktail

If you can’t decide which type of fruit you want to can, you can create a mixture of all of them. For this recipe, all you need is 3 pounds of peaches, 3 pounds of pears, one pound of slightly underripe seedless green grapes, a 10-oz jar of maraschino cherries, 3 cups of sugar, and 4 cups of water. It’ll create about six pints of delicious fruit cocktail for you to enjoy.
